Schema markup for contractors
What’s printed on the back
Google doesn’t just look at your photos. It reads the code behind them.
Most contractor websites have almost nothing there. A picture. Maybe a caption. Google can’t tell what the job was, what you did, or where you did it.
Every Card carries a hidden block of code called schema. It tells Google the type of work, the city, the date, and who did it. It’s the exact format Google asks for. Almost no small contractor has it, because doing it by hand takes a developer and about an hour per page.
